Dear Fellow Riders, Clubs and Enthusiasts,
We’re excited to invite you to the Orange County Vulcan Riders Association’s first ever, "Palms to Pines" Mini Motorcycle Rally, taking place from November 1st to 3rd at the beautiful Miracle Springs Resort and Spa in Desert Hot Springs, CA. This event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow riders, enjoy some of the most scenic routes in Southern California, and support a great cause—all while having a blast!
Mini Rally Highlights:
Day Ride - Palms to Pines: On Saturday, Nov. 2, we’ll hit the iconic Palms to Pines road, a ride that promises stunning views and unforgettable experiences. We’ll stop for lunch in Idyllwild and continue to the Hollywood movie sets in Pioneer Town to quench our thirst before heading back to the hotel and get dinner together.
Charity Ride for CHOC: This year, we’re riding for a cause! We’ve partnered with Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) and are challenging each rider to raise $200 = (200 Miles ridden) for the hospital before the ride. It’s as simple as sharing your fundraising link with friends, family and on Social Media. Those who participate will receive a special challenge coin as a token of our appreciation. Some ideas are to have people sponsor you for .10 a mile, .25 a mile, .50 a mile or $1 a mile until you hit the goal of $200, you can raise more if you want!
Our Goal is to Raise a total of $5000 for CHOC, for Christmas Presents for the Kids, Technology donations for the kids and other gifts.
Dates and Schedule
November 1: Arrival, check in to hotel room, spend time checking out Palm Springs and join us for informal gathering at the hotel bar 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Come and go as you please!
November 2: Palms to Pines Charity ride, lunch in Idyllwild, Drinks in Pioneer Town evening dining out
November 3: Checkout and head home. Take a ride up the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, ride down to the beaches in Orange County, or stay around town, might as well enjoy while you can!
Hotel Booking Info
Once you sign up to attend the Mini Rally, you'll be given an email with the full details of our event, including directions and how to book your hotel room at the Miracle Springs Resort and Spa in Desert Hot Springs, CA. Note, we did reserve a total of 15 rooms each on Friday and Saturday that are at the lowest rate the hotel can offer, first come, first served. You'll see a booking code in your welcome email. Book soon, or you may pay a lot more for your room or have ride a couple miles away at some lame hotel where there is no action or fun. Plan for Rates from $99 a night to $120 a night plus taxes.
